A strong academic foundation is the key to student growth and achievement. Our core curriculum focuses on the interconnectedness of language arts, mathematics, and science and their application beyond the classroom. These classes are complemented by instruction in the fine and performing arts, physical education, entrepreneurial studies, and other electives.

Carolina Achieve Receives Ready To Open Status
At the North Carolina Charter School Review Board December 2023 meeting Carolina Achieve’s charter was designated as Ready To Open for the 2025-26 academic year. The approval decision came quickly, allowing us ample time to finalize our new location for the approximately 400 students we aim to serve in the 2025-26 academic year.
As noted in the Raleigh News & Observer, “Carolina Achieve’s initial board of directors includes Thomas Nechyba, a Duke University professor who has written extensively about the impact of school choice on neighborhoods. “Given my view that one of the members should have the Nobel Prize, I am enthusiastic about the board they’ve put together,” said Bartley Danielsen, a Review Board member.”
